Yes, there's absolutely no issues with our offense. The quarterback play has been fantastic, especially since our QB is only a sophomore. Can't believe people would write off a sophomore. LSU fans don't do that to other sophomores on the team, right? Or redshirt freshmen...

Jarrett Lee deserves snaps. Our offense is looking as bad as I've seen in a long, long time. Is it just Jefferson? No. Is Jefferson a big part of it? Yes.

Poor offensive scheming, poor line play, and poor quarterbacking all have played a part and it needs to be acknowledged and dealt with. Jefferson takes massive dropbacks (which doesn't help his lineman much), doesn't step up in the pocket, and holds the ball WAY too long at times. Sure he doesn't throw many interceptions, but he also takes a shite ton of sacks, 1 or 2 yard runs, and struggles to complete meaningful throws downfield. It's been apparent since before the Florida game, but everybody hates Lee so much that it's blasphemy to them to mention Lee getting into the rotation.

And why no Shep? I'm baffled at how the personnel have been handled offensively.

how many teams in the country do you think can even stay in the game with this florida team, much less have a chance to win.

How did we stay with them any more than Tennessee? The games were pretty similar: Gators win but not in a blowout, Florida's opponent seemingly plays not to lose big, etc.

Would you ask the same question of Tennessee fans?

not bama for sure..
Bama got their arse whipped by this team last year , and U F has all the same defensive players from that team, plus the same guy at the QB position. bama has 0 chance of beating U F

It had a little to do with Tebow coming back from a major concussion. UF was really conservative with the play-calling. They only used about 1/4th of the playbook. They actually just relied on their defense to win the game and they did. They knew they didn't have to do much offensively to beat us.

i'm not saying that things can't be done to improve this team, but for people to be calling for miles and crowton's heads to roll and that jordan jefferson is such a shitbag he will never be a winning qb is stupid.
and for people like double deuce who proclaims he would rather j lee in the game at qb even if it was guaranteed he would throw a pick six every game, wtf.. i didnt realize that their was that many dumbass' out there i guess.

The prediction was a joke. The Cowboys aren't going anywhere under Wade Phillips. Similar to LSU and Miles.

Maybe, but have you taken notice of the great Bill Belichick? Tom Brady is struggling and so is his team. hmmm imagine that..

QB's can make a HC look like a genius

Bingo. And against Washington, Vandy, UL-L, Mississippi State, Georgia and Florida. Well, Florida is actually decent. But against the others...

doubledeuce you are way off if you think that..
with U F up 13-3 why was meyer calling a deep pass with just 5 minutes left in the game , (the one we picked off at the 5 yard line)... that don't sound like someone just relying on the defense...
He was trying to score as much as he could.. Also going for it on 4th down instead of kicking the FG..
Believe this, meyer was trying his best to up the score against us,
thats all he could get....

Being reasonable...come on. You have to weigh the good with the bad. By having JJ in the game you get no positive offensive output, but you also have no turnovers. By having JLee in the game you get positive offensive output and potentially give the other team a TD.

Let's say that JLee is a net positive 14 points (3 TDs and 1 pick six) and JJ is a net positive 7 points (1 TD and no INTs).

Would you rather put your money, long-term, in a tin in the back yard or a mutual fund? You must have some risk to receive reward.

what was the final 31-20 or 20-17....
football is a game of 4 quarters not 3..
and yes to me thats getting your arse whipped when you give up 14 4th quarter points in a championship game !!

Getting arse whipped is what happened to LSU against Florida last year.
