You can’t expect your offense to put up 8-10 runs a game

I know we’ve been losing in the worst fashion. But this is a pitching issue more than slumps, or on any single person in the lineup.
Any other year we would be winning games on Friday 3-1.. now we have to get 10 across to win or stay in it. This is a Yeskie problem

We did. That stretch ended when Schmidt became our Friday night starter. Losing your Friday and Saturday night guys hurts, even if one of them was underperforming.
