this has to be the most absolute dumbest thread ever, and should be not just moved from this board but deleted all together. I spent several years in the military away from Louisiana, and voted for Louisiana races in each one. This is turning into a "my dad can beat up your dad" argument real quick. just make it go away! ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconspank.gif)

I can honestly say that I haven't listened to nor do I care if Les Miles voted for the governor of Oklahoma, California, or Saudia Arabia. I guess he just doesn't concern me the way Saban does you guys.

quote:Look, I don't care one way or the other but being stationed in the military or being away at college is different than having an established principle residence in one state while claiming residency in another. I don't care if Saban voted in the West Virginia, Alaska, and Florida primary but that doesn't change the fact that he is a resident of the state of alabama.

This is a dumb argument......Think about it. While living in Virginia (in the military) i hadn't been home in Baton Rouge in a year, however it was considered my primary residence. Another scenario......My parents maintain their primary residence in Baton Rouge, although they stay 51 weeks out of the year in Destin, Fl. Does that make them liars, no. They pay taxes to our state, and that is where they vote. To call them a liar because they spend the majority of the well deserved retirment in Destin yet they prefer to maintain residency in Louisiana is ridiculous. If you want to call him a liar, please find a better argument than something that is so common to our military, students, retirees, and so many other people.

Don't go getting all rational. The OP has found yet another valid reason to hate Saban and you're trying to take that from him. Let the hate, fear, and pain fester as it should.
