Yeskie didn’t magically turn Anderson into the 3rd overall pick and the 7th best prospect in all of baseball.
What’s he done with the non-elite talent he’s had at LSU? The number of pitchers who have regressed badly under Yeskie is long. Thatcher Hurd went from dominating a national championship game to posting a 6.55 ERA as a senior.
