We went last year and my wife hated it. She was like, what do you mean y’all can’t cook? She also said it was to crowded and she hated the fact that we had to carry everything in.
I told her she was spoiled by our tailgating.
I was shocked that after the game they were all packing up. I figured they would be having a big party after beating us

Been to the Grove 5 times. LAME AF...any campus that makes you put padlocks on your coolers, sucks.

One of, if not THE most, overrated “tailgating” traditions in the sport. I’d sooner have more fun at at least half of the other SEC schools

The Grove is disappointing.
No cooking .
A fancy chandelier over grocery store finger sandwiches and chicken fingers.
Lock on your ice chest?
Can’t have a regular beer in your hand.
Can’t have alcohol showing.
You have to make a cocktail and beer with a red solo cup with your hands hiding in your ice chest.
It seemed like everyone gets one 8X8 tent space , so pack um tight. Not much room to spread around.
Maybe some of these rules have been relaxed. But when I was there they were in full force.
