That's is true, but he was OK 5 months ago to coach by his bosses when he was ask to testify in April and they knew this? Now a some media reports some of the phone conversations leak and they want run over and "meet" &. to suspend him?
LSU Uppers fricked up & had to have known what was coming but panicked and suspended him.
This is what has pissed the fan base off more than anything.
I'm on record Boot up & let's ride.
If the felt this way they should have dismissed him in October.

if they end up facing infractions it won't matter anyway

Sorry, but the more LSU can put on Wade and Wade alone here, the better.

i sincerely doubt LSU will be allowed to benefit from this season if he's found ineligible. that banner would be coming down at that point. as i think we're seeing already, the LSU administration would be more than willing to do that. it might only take a yahoo report suggesting it.

Why would he? he told them then what he knew.

Nothing has changed, other than a vague conversation that any good attorney could argue & LSU higher up nervous about bad press which was going to happen either way.

Which they shoulda cut ties in October or ride it out.
The mistake Wade made was fricking winning.

Yep look what happened to our football program.

At any rate, Wade didn't meet his boss's demand, so he was suspended. When you don't meet a boss's demand, you face the possibility of suspension. It's how stuff works.
Did Wade not tell them that his attorney has instructed him not to discuss the matter? I think that's a reasonable response to your boss to decline a meeting regarding the FBI investigation that suddenly pops up after the new media pressure even though this same FBI investigation and wire tap information has been out since last year. Alleva and FKA didn't NEED to meet with WW about this, they were looking for an excuse to suspend/fire him to make themselves look good in the face of media pressure. They NOW decide to demand his presence (I guess with the NCAA compliance on the phone) over LAST YEAR's situation because of Yahoo sports and Vitale?
They should be ashamed that they allowed this situation to unfold the way it did, and Alleva should be terminated immediately for allowing LSU to face this type of trash. He should've gotten ahead of the situation, but obviously wanted to look like an AD with a winning Bball program despite the fact WW was named LAST YEAR in this shite.
WW has built this team the way EVERY OTHER good CBB team is built, and is now the target of the media mob because its only LSU and not Duke or Kentucky, and Alleva/FKA are allowing LSU to be the sacrifice because they are not willing to stand up and fight for LSU to have success in a system that is saturated with corruption. They'd rather fight for the corrupt system to remain in place by sacrificing LSU's coach with the excuse of "he didn't show up to the meeting we (suddenly) demanded (even though the investigation has been going on since last year, but now the media's upset)."
If you think WW should be fired, then you better be calling for Alleva to resign/get fired! Again, the FBI/wiretap stuff has been known for a LONG time now, and Alleva/FKA should've gotten ahead of this before the school, basketball program and "student-athletes" were trashed rather than wait till the eve of their game to play for the first SEC championship in a decade to make 2 half-arse suspensions over a declined meeting and "an abundance of caution." HORRIBLE management, and THAT'S selling LSU out for your own image!!!

Nothing has changed since October, other than some reporters got their panties in a wad that LSU was beating Kentucky (and Tennessee?) out.
The information about the wiretap was known last fall. Presumably LSU and Wade had a discussion then, all was apparently good, and he was cleared to continue coaching per his contract.
Now, the media has whined... first we benefited from a non-review, then we got an unfair foul in our favor, now Wade is Scarface. Not all whining has come from the same sources, but the general motivation seems to be all the same.
And at this late hour, someone in LSU's administration cracked and panicked, and decided to grandstand.
Wade has done nothing further in the past 5 months. Wade was not terminated in the past, or over the weekend... so he hasn't broken his side of the contract. If he had, he'd be out and this would be 'over'.
Your comment
If he was aware that his coach was on a wiretap talking with a convicted felon, and he didn't perceive at the time that this might be a big fricking deal, he's hopelessly out of his league.
And this DIDN'T just pop up. People on the SEC Rant have been teasing something going down for awhile, you'd like to think administration knows more than anonymous trolls on a website.

I think that's a reasonable response

I wish Wade the best of luck with his legal situation outside not getting a payout when he’s let go.
