Nailed it. Just being a fan actually buys into the whole sham. You either want to be a fan of the stupid, losing, non-competitive side or the conniving, winning, competitive side. It's all crooked, no matter the side as far as college basketball is concerned and allowed to be this way because of the huge amount of money generated. The NBA one and done rule has caused this as it forced the colleges to compete against the NBA for the high school talent. Thus, recruiting has become a bidding war for top players.
My proposal to combat this is to make a total mockery of what the sport has become at the college level by celebrating LOSING in an entertaining fashion. Let's be the first school to have only midgets on our basketball team and lose every game by enormous scores like 200-20. Take this act on the road and seriously make a total joke of what is being shoved down LSU's throat. If the system is rigged to keep us down, let's find another approach that shines light on how corrupt it is. Midget ball. It's time has come.

I hope it all falls apart. College football and basketball are so longer for any student athlete, it's semi pro sports. Unfortunately some programs like Alabama, are protected.
There's no repair, it needs destroyed and reconstructed.
