yea, big shot. I think you are a loudmouth. the LSU vs BYU game has hot been played yet. when it's over AND if we kick arse feel free to gloat. their first game was a lot like LSU's in the les miles era.

the can and will give LSU a real tough game and very well could upset us. the transitive property doesn't work in football.

I'm with you LGD. People read WAY too much into 1 game where the favorite was caught flat looking ahead.

Those 24/25/26 year old players will show up next week & give the Tigahs all they want.

LSU wins, but not in blowout fashion.

I don't think it would be too shocking if LSU prevented BYU from getting a single touchdown. Our defense is going to be the best since 2011 IMO.

Bs. They didn't make a lot of mistakes. They just couldn't block Portland st up front, the wrs couldn't get separation, and qb was a statue. Lsu will feast. This ain't Les Miles.

Personally, I wish BYU had done better today. Nothing like looking weak in the opener to motivate an entire team facing a much better opponent week 2 even more. Nothing like seeing your next opponent the week before look weak to fall into the trap of taking them too lightly. I'm sure the coaches won't, but some of the players might.

Les miles is gone man. There is no excuse for byu looking like dog shite in their season opener at home!!!! Spin it all you want. BYU will have big mismatches against us. I can tell u didn't watch the game either like others spouting off.

What? Byu just didn't show up? Dude, even without showing up an average fbs team should beat Portland state worse than that. Portland state isn't even a good fcs team. LSU could play our 2nd string and beat Portland state like byu did today...that's being serious and no bullshite. Byu is in trouble. Lsu is gonna kill those poor mormon bastards

A lot of us that have watched CFB for a while now know not to take a team lightly just because they didn't look so hot the week before. BYU could very easily come out and look much better vs LSU.

Look bud I'm all for giving the opponent their fair due but LSU is for real this year. We aren't taking anyone lightly. LSU is going to in there full speed ahead with NO MERCY. Aranda and Canada are just too good for this team to move the ball AT ALL.

I saw how PS stuffed run after run. No they didn't show much BUT it doesn't matter what they showed. BYU will HAVE to run the ball to drive down the field or LSU will just bump their WRs until we get the sack. Our DL plus LBs are a HUGE mismatch. Guice plus Chark against those LBs is a HUGE mismatch. I think LSU can go in their and run creatively, around the ends, up the middle, screens, passes in the flat, and down field off of fakes and tear them a new one.

Hell PS was having some success running the ball. They had success on short passes also. Their DBs can't stop our WRs period. It's really a total mismatch. Only way they could keep up is if we played flat (can't see it) or if we steady make mistakes or multiple TOs. Even then I think we win by 14 or more. Sorry but from what I watched today there is nothing they can improve on in a week that will help them one bit. Just can't match up with us.

LSU will be ready. They should practice even harder just to show the country just how dominant LSU could have been all these years with an offense to match this defense. It should be a fun game for the Tigers no matter if it's close or not though. Go Tigers!! 35-6.

much of which was between the tackles. we do this it will completely open up the horizontal stretches.

BYU was favored by 5 TOUCHDOWNS.

F I V E

they won by 2 TD's. it was a ball game into the 4th quarter.

BYU is in big trouble. we are gonna gash that D.

I know and at several points in the game PS's OL was wearing BYU out at the POA, they had to sub DLman. Their DBs aren't even close to what we have at WR. If our OL and DL go into this game with something to prove, and with an attitude we should dominate them. Even if LSU played like PS did today (which will not happen) straight up, no real imagination then we would still beat BYU by a couple of scores. You add to the fact that this offense will have all these moving parts, fakes, people involved, and the fact that we can also play the physical game as well, then BYU will be sucking wind against us. They won't be ready for all this moving around PLUS physical nature of our offense. It could get real bad for BYU.

Have any of y'all listened to Gene Chizik (who had some very good defense's) explain how difficult it is to stop this offense? He also mentioned that it is indeed an easy offense but how multiple it is what makes it tough. You can't get into any kind of a rhythm as a defense, and never know what's going to happen next. There is no packages he works from so you can't identify the offense which makes it hard for anyone much less BYU. You can't really blitz because if you guess wrong, it's a huge score. You have to basically sit there and wait for the offense to get going then react, even then, they can react wrong. You can play power or finness out of it on any given play. He said you really need an entire summer to prepare for it. Being how BYU just played this week, they will have had maybe 7 days. Lmao

yes. saw it on SECN the other day. fabulous commentary by gene.

yep. when you use every player in every formation and play within those formations you have no keys or reads other than down and distance guessing. especially when you mix it up and use whole field throwing and running. they still do not know what part of field you are going to.

that happens when you spread teams out. forces them to account for everyone and creates mismatches. less help. more man on man responsibility. takes great discipline then you have to still out execute.

All I have to say about next week is Darius Guice will start his Heisman campaign. That's if the Mormons don't start playing dirty trying to hurt our offensive line with cheap chop blocks like they did this week
