This is all part of the Zach Smith abuse allegations story. What was agreed on behind closed doors in addition to Meyer's three game suspension was that he'd "retire" end of the season. All too obvious. Moral of the story: if you know someone is beating their wife...do something about it.

When we won the championship in 07, Meyer was one of the analyst for the game.. and the players were having such a good time, including rubbing/patting his head like you see.. and it was as if Meyer wasn’t really into it. He clearly not enjoying it

Should have seen Get Up! this morning. They were spinning this so hard. They never brought up the issues from August and just talked about his health. Sounded like total bullshite
