yep, I have no problem with a bunch of subs in the first half with a big lead to keep your starters fresh to close out the game in the second.

And honestly, we are still dominating the boards with KBW and Reid out of the game. Days/Emmitt/Taylor are out-leaping their bigs.

This has been on of Tremont’s best halves of year. Him sharing the ball is when the score took off, cause no one else surely was. He’s only taken 2 bad shots & 1 went in. That’ll play

Because of that shot clock miscue by the refs we get the ball in the second half. I’d love to see a perfectly executed alley oop to Taylor to start us off.

Hey, y'all know what's nice? Listening to commentators not with ESPN or the SEC network. They actually get excited for both teams big plays, equally. With an ESPN or SEC network broadcast when LSU makes a big play the commentators sound like someone ran over their dog.

They have to keep up this intensity though, that's how you blow out and finish off teams. You come out flat relying on your lead, and guess what, Yale is right back in the game. This is how they should have played against Fla and they wouldn't be a Fla upset, the defense was much, much better.

I don't know if it is Yale playing shitty defense and not handling our screens well or jumping passing lanes, but our ball movement has been much better than normal IMO.

My only real issue here is that if LSU makes a deep run in this tournament, then they will just fire Will Wade and hire Benford. Sucks cause WW made this team, put the coaches in place and created the start of a winning program.... listen to the narrative being pushed. Just looks like it’s being pushed that direction.

And by all Means I’m not taking anything away from Benford here. He is doing a great job so far, but CB just said when you get deeper into this tournament you will see the difference between a head coach and an assistant. I guess we will see
