Y.A. Tittle's name should be up in Tiger Stadium.

One of the early studs of LSU football and in the NFL Hall of Fame should be recognized by LSU. His jersey is retired by New York Giants but not by LSU. Hopefully the LSU brass will fix this. Maybe rename the LSU tunnel that players run out of after him if they don't want to retire #25.

Not knocking your idea, but want to pose a question. Should players' NFL careers factor into whether or not their jersey is retired by LSU?

Lsu isn't big on retiring jerseys and y.a. played for lsu 60 years ago.

Def need to get his name in there tho.

jersey retired? maybe not

name on the ring of honor in the stadium? frick YES

It is a travesty that these two names are not up in the stadium, while people who have nothing to do with the program other than writing a check have their names all over the place.

Y.A. Tittle held the passing record for LSU until Bert Jones came along. He was the 6th pick overall in the draft. I think that’s a pretty significant LSU career...

This is pretty significant.

In total, during his college career Tittle set school passing records with 162 completions out of 330 attempts for 2,525 yards and 23 touchdowns. He scored seven touchdowns himself as a runner.[7] His passing totals remained unbroken until Bert Jones surpassed them in the 1970s.[15]

I think a wall should be built above the north end zone for a ring of honor for guys such as Tittle
