I'm guessing LSU is the only elite P5 team that has had only one is 70+ years, and none in 48 years.
You'd guess wrong. Name one QB from Ohio State that fits that criteria. Texas had Bobby Lane in the 50s and Vince Young, that's it. Others have mentioned Nebraska and Florida. So, like I said, the group of schools that fits that criteria is very small

You know, I started this post to point out that prior to Burrow, LSU has accomplished a lot without much talent at QB, a truth I didn't think was controversial. But then I knew that Some Ranter would come along making some non-sequitur argument about how dare I suggest [insert QB name] wasn't a successful QB, and proceed to turn it into a referendum on [insert QB name], thereby derailing and ruining the whole thing with bullshite that isn't germane to anything. So I thought that by putting some parameters defining the lack of QB success I was pointing to, I would blunt the Ranters' ability to ruin the thread. I was wrong, you found me.
As to your point, but Texas DID have Vince Young, and I'd say that multiple QB Heisman winners make schools like Florida and Ohio State pretty QB-rich, regardless of any single yardstick. And your ability to point to a handful of outliers (and I don't care to even investigate whether you're accurate to begin with) is not dispositive of the entire set.
But if that's not enough for you: Since the Burt Jones era, Louisiana schools like La Tech (Terry Bradshaw, Luke McCown), Northwestern (Bobby Hebert), and even Tulane (Shaun King), have had as much or more success than LSU at generating successful NFL QBs by almost any yardstick.

If I went into a coma for a decade, woke up and somehow could run a draft, I would probably take:
Purdue QB
Georgia RB
LSU WR
A&M, Wisconsin O Line
LSU, Ohio State secondary
Odds are, those guys make the roster, and start within a year.

Bradshaw predated Jones. He was already in the NFL when Jones was in college. Shaun King started one season in the NFL and started fewer career games than Jamarcus Russell. And you can't be serious with Luke McCown. he has been a career backup QB and has only started due to injury. He has as many career starts as Mettenberger.
The point you seem to be missing, which continues to be illustrated with every post you've made, is that it is very rare to have multiple multi-year starters come from one school. It has been shown to you that multiple elite programs (there aren't a lot of those) have done no better than LSU in that regard, so I wouldn't call those outliers. I just named 4, do you really want me to go through the short list of QBs from schools like Penn State? Until the past 10 years, Oklahoma had only had one NFL QB in the history of their program. So in the top 10 winningest programs in FBS history, 5 have had unspectacular showings at the QB position in the NFL the last 40 years, with Oklahoma a sixth who, until 2010, hadn't done any better. So no, they're not outliers. The outliers are programs who consistently have multi-year NFL starting QBs.
