Catcher kicked it, and was so manic he never felt it on his foot.
DiGiacomo couldn’t believe his eyes and hesitated.
Good thing he hesitated because that made 1st baseman (Rankin Woolley) wrongly think he had a chance at throwing the runner out at home. Rushes the throw.
Just a reminder, we would have had runner at 3rd with 1-out and the game tied. Sure was nice having it handed to us.

The LF went to 3rd instead of 2B on Garza's hit. Hell if he even hits the cutoff right they get Garza at 2.
