It's not at all puzzling. They haven't beaten good teams all year. Oklahoma was a mirage, and the Tigers only swung the bats in one game that series.

These guys are taking pitches right down the middle for strikes then strike out on pitches outside the plate. Seems like they're thinking too much up there instead of just batting with their instincts...
