I think Fournette will be running the ball a lot. Then Magee and Hillard running, until we get a few games under our belt. Passing will be only when absolutely necessary.

i dont understand how people say we will be fine. We coudlnt even find a 3rd WR this year, with a lot of these same guys on the roster. Lord knows we could have used one.

Agree, we are not starting with not much experience at WR.

Diarse
Dural
Leslie
Spears

Hopefuls
Quinn
Dupre

Holy Cross head coach said that Kevin Spears is 220 right now. If that is true omg he will be tough on the field. A 6'3" 220 lbs wr hope he takes that leap and runs wit it

it's hard to have a 3rd receiver when you got 2 of the best receivers there are catching for 1k a piece and another rb running for 1k.. that's quite a 3 headed monster attack.

now LSU has incredible talent, just unproven, but a QB who will look to spread the ball around a lot more IMO. just imagine if say a guy like leslie could take off. (not as a number 1, but a legit #3 compliment) there's opportunities all around for guys to step up this season. i hope they shine.

Whoever they are, they should get a lot of reps between now and Wisconsin.

lol...our 3rd WR had 7 catches on the season. That isn't a product of Landry and Beckham stealing all the balls.

I've been saying this. It's probably the biggest concern that everyone seems to be overlooking. Dural hasn't proven anything yet and we have zero clue what we have behind even that. I know that we haven't been landing any big WR recruits between landry/beckham until this year. I mean, we landed some solid prospects but none that ever looked elite...

It wouldn't shock me if someone like Quinn and if we land Dupre come in and pass everyone up on the chart.

If it all clicks for Spears he could be the go to receiver on the level of Landry or OBJ. He seems to have the most raw talent. People were real high on Diarse, so interesting to see what he can do. Know Dural will be better next year. On Leslie should be more ready. So we already have some good talent there. Quinn and hopefull Dupree would be pretty deep at WR. All the TE's come back and add in Jacory Washington. QB whoever he is , will have good targets to throw to.

no, it's a product of our QB almost always targeting the top 2. not that I blame him, those 2 dudes were awesome and made plays all yr. but let's not act like Boone (and even Wright) hadn't shown the ability to catch the yr before.
