Brush up on the roster, goober.

And you spelled "duel" wrong. It's dual.

This is such a dead-end argument.

We had a transitional offense last season, there were NO experienced players returning.

If just Hill had returned, we would have had a dynamic and dominant rushing game.

If just one of OBJ or Landry had returned, that WR would likely have been all-SEC. He would have been the undisputed leader on the team, and would have been DEMANDING the ball. Jennings (and Harris) would have been looking for him every play, because that guy knew what to do.

Next year will be fine. Dural's speed will be emphasized. Dupre will step up. Quinn will calm down. Fournette will explode. Jennings will be more certain of his reads, and if Harris can catch him with the playbook, he'll be a dynamic player.

The big thing for our QB is to run the offense smoothly, and that will happen with time.

The problem isn't the players its the coaching. We didn't have QB issues when Jimbo was calling the offense

Jennings will probably be pretty good this coming season with the experience under his belt and with expected better play calling and plays from Cam and company. Harris will probably be a pretty solid backup (if he doesn't beat Jennings out for the starters spot). He has a strong arm and is a very dynamic runner. I like the McMillon kid we signed this year. Very under rated IMO. Just a very solid QB in all facets of the game. Then we have a great prospect committed to nexts years class in Felipe Franks. Big guy who looks like the real deal. We have the players, it's just all on Cam to do something with them and not tank it again this year.

If jenninga starts this year I don't see us being any better than last year. Dude just doesn't have it

The problem with Harris and Franks is that they'll still be coached by miles and cameron

Jennings was no better from the first game to the last,if jennings starts look for LSU to lose 4 or 5 games again this year

Something that is very overlooked. Our receiver core had tons of talent, but they looked inexperienced throughout the year. Even Dural is far from reaching his potential. Had a big drop against MSU that would have helped with momentum. Just didn't look physical enough fighting for balls.

We needed someone who could go over the middle and fight for the ball. I think we'll have a couple options for that next year. Tony Ball is going to push these players for greatness.

How many quarterbacks, since Les Miles has been here, have been successful in duels?

Same could be said for Jordan Jefferson, and Jarrett Lee's entire career. I think Jordan Jefferson's career is the norm under Les Miles. It is the system as much as the QB. When the offense is so predictable that you can tell
What they are going to run by the running back in the game no QB can have success.

I think our last "duel"-threat QB was Ryan Perrilloux, as he proved at The Varsity on Halloween in 2007.

Good lord, stop with the excuses!!

AJ has had two full years in Cam's system and has been the starter since the Iowa bowl game the season before last.

Good lord, AJ was young last year when he was going through the gauntlet. As a true sophomore. It's a valid observation. No one is claiming this applies to 2015.

And he was a FREAKING 1st year starter last year. He had some growing pains for sure and has a TON of room for improvement, but people acting like he didn't show any signs of potential are just hating on him. He throws a pretty deep ball down the sideline and is a cerebral player late in big games. He'll need more than that to be successful and stay on the field next season though.

Hm. Interesting. It seems theres a correlation between talent w/ experience and success. WHO WOULD HAVE GUESSED?

If anything, its the outlier. Russell, Flynn, Perrilloux, and Mettenberger did just fine in their time here.
