i think it was the ole miss game when the espn guys said, on a national broadcast, that theyve never seen so many fans leave so early while the game was still in doubt.
that was certainly a proud moment.

did you go to BAMA game this year, or south carolina? if so, you are an idiot to say the magic was not present...everybody who was at BAMA acknowledges the awesomeness that was Death Valley that night...granted, the pussification of TS is a reality but to say it is a myth is wrong

I was there. You were watching on television. And you want to balk at fans leaving early?

Obviously he just sits in Atlanta complaining about others doing exactly what he's doing.

my parents made arrangements to leave after the third quarter. I'll never let him live that one down

So was I. But I'm not going to lament over it.

our fanbase is so bad now that we think staying for the entire game once or twice a year is special.

You didn't go to the OM game. I'm guessing you didn't go to either Bama or South Carolina either seeing as you're purposefully avoiding a simple question.

I agree with all of this.
The game that left the worst taste in my mouth was 2011 Arkansas. We were celebrating the FIRST 12-0 season in LSU Football history and that damned stadium was half clear most of the fourth quarter. I relished the tremendous accomplishment, but it seemed as if most of the fanbase couldn't give two shits. It was very disheartening.

You obviously do not attend many games. Tiger Stadium gets as loud as ever when needed.

Stayed till the end of the North Texas game. That's dedication, yo!

it would be cool, as long as we are keeping the number high. as soon as there are a few low readings it would take away from the reputation of TS
Posted on 1/14/13 at 7:47 am to jmarto1
I think it would backfire with our fans today. Not necessarily cause harm, but consistently show how tame death valley is when it's not a big game.

No.
It would be just another thing for all of the tards on this board to bitch about. If the sound doesn't get high enough at the right moment for them, there will be 27 threads on here complaining about bad fans and how loud they themselves were yelling.

Didn't LSU have a noise meter in the PMAC when we used to pack that place for basketball games?
