There's just simply no reason to hate either. Miles was given the chance to do what he could for the program, and now O is being given the same chance.

Yep. And you can want the team to win and not think the coach is the answer long term.

Yup.

And just as it was for Miles, it is imperative that O fix our offense. If he doesn't he's going to get fired like Miles was, but I don't see O getting another 2 full years if progress isn't made next year.

Agreed again. As I've already stated in this thread, we've seen that movie before. There's no reason to sit through it again.

Why would you say this???? When Miles did good things I talked great about him... When he screwed up I was critical.... Same with O.....

When I reply to Rickky im not piling on Miles... Im piling on Ricky.. His obsession with Miles is just over the top.....

With LSU/LES settling, CEO leash just got a hell of a lot shorter to fix the offense.

LSU and CEO now have the funds to get KBriles and pay SE the remainder of his contract.

For the exact same reason you've called me an O hater in the past and you call Rick one now.

Then why can't we be piling on people that say ridiculous things to pump up O? I have WAY less of an issue with anything Orgeron has ever done than I do with the litany of excuses people have made for him last year and last summer.

Agree with you.

O's leash gets much shorter if he keeps E. If O is committed to fixing this offense, he will make the hard but necessary decision and remove E from OC.

Briles, Kiffin, Longo, Freeze -- I really don't care. Just get someone who will bring this offense out of 1924.

And There are really good coaches who can’t recruit. recruiting is the most valuable skill a coach can have at a school like LSU. So if you have a great recruiter you have a good start. look at miles. Worst clock managemt coach ever. Never could develop a qb. He won plenty. Bc he could recruit. O is similar to miles in a lot of ways but he is the much better clock management guy. That’s a formula to win big here at LSU.

NO... look at the trend from Miles record:

2011 12-0 plus SEC champs and bsc loss
2012 10-2 plus bowl loss
2013 9-3 plus bowl win
2014 8-4 plus bowl loss

was a constant decline year after year

There's nothing to refute, it is is nothing but hyperbole. Where Les really struggled was to teach his offenses the 2 and 4 minute offenses in practice which is what cost us games more than game day clock management.
