Of course provided that if Herman and Fisher were out of play. He was turning Arky into a legitimate player. His last two seasons were a combined record of 21-5 with a BCS win over Ohio State. His overall record at LOUISVILLE is 59-18.

I certainly wouldn't rule him out as long as our fan base could look past him getting a little poon on the side.

he would have won a national title in 05 or 06 had he not crashed and burned his interview.

I think Louisville contract is really weighted against him leaving

He already has arky there. I would prefer a younger coach but at this point i wanna see a fun offense. Lsu fans deserve it. We've been forced to watch this old arse offense for a long time

Hell no. I made a comment about Petrino a few days ago in a thread about Lane Kiffin, but only to sarcastically compare the two men's lack of character.

Do not want. Forgetting the off the field stuff, he's not big on defense and there are doubts as to whether he can actually sustain a program. He doesn't recruit anything buts WRs and QBs.

Yes, I would mind Petrino. And, yeas, I would mind Kiffin.

If Les is gone, my first choice would be Tom Herman and then, my DISTANT second choice would be Jimbo.

My prediction is this: if we fire Les and CANNOT get Herman or Fisher, whoever we get will win less games than Les Miles has.

Do not want Petrino.

He is a POS who's acted like a POS at every stop he's made.

I'd rather see LSU go into a 10 year tailspin that sell the schools soul to that devil.

I wish we had him now, you think? Yes, He had an affair. So what. If you want character, hire someone like Jerry Stoval for 200k and be proud of your graduation rates like Vandy.

Ethics went away when LSU was forced to play Alabama a second time. ESPN invented a new term to justify it, "eyeball test." Get Petrino, keep Aranda. Fire EVERYBODY else, and let the to coaches hire their respective staffs.

Agree that LSU needs to go for the HR hires of Jimbo and Herman first but after that I would really like Petrino. Think he could do some great things at LSU. I suspect he wouldn't be a target though b/c of his past.
