Manziel beat ALA and won the Heisman with his legs playing sandlot football. Lots of improv on his part, no real designed plays. Throw the ball and let your 6’6” WR go up and get it.

Hell no! He is an undisciplined idiot. A big mistake people make, when hiring coaches, is to assume a great player would make a great coach. That seldom happens. Great players, particularly those who made it on talent alone, make crappy coaches.
Manzel would miss practices most days because he’s snorting coke. Most great coaches were undersized, or untalented players. For every Steve Spurrier there are 10 Nick Sabans, Sean Paytons, and - dare I say it - Ed Orgerons.
