What triggers a review in CFB. I’m specifically thinking about the incomplete pass, non fumble in OT.

I know the officials stopped the game and were talking to O on the sidelines about the play. Can O call for a review and get it in that situation?

There were several other plays that would have been reviewed in the NFL but weren’t reviewed.

They review whatever the REC wants them to review.

In the SEC, a review is triggered if it will benefit the team the that is predetermined to win the game

All plays are reviewed and if they need more time they stop play.

The biggest one to me, and the one that for some inexplicable reason did not get reviewed, was the 4th down play where the player was CLEARLY a full yard short and they gave him the first down. Game ends right there if they review that and are honest about where the player was down. There wasn't anyone near him, they had a clear view.

So 100% subjective and decided on by officiating crew-
What problem could ever arise w that approach?

the 4th down play

I really think this one was not reviewed because even if they call would have stood, there would have been a 10sec runoff... thereby the refs ending the game and "losing" it for aTm

The yellow line was wrong, there is documented picture proof of this in multiple threads on here

As I’ve heard it explained, The play was waived dead (which is the same as a whistle during play) immediately by the two officials on that side. It was then not eligible to be reviewed and declare it a fumble with recovery by LSU, even if there was consensus (which there isn’t) it was a catch and fumble. It was a bad call for sure, just not one that can be overturned
