Which #1, is absurd, and #2, puts the interests of one player in front of those of the entire program. You say that starting from scratch is awful, but you want the program must do it anyway ... yet you want to prolong doing it for one year for the sake of just one guy. Does this sound normal to you?
#1 So you think forcing a 19-20 year old kid to learn a copletely new offensive system in less than 8 months is easy and the transition will be seamless? You clearly have no idea what you are talking about if thats what you are saying. He will get confused and he will make mistakes and it will hinder the performance of the offense.

And #2, if you dont see that the key to offensive success in the current era of college football is a good, experienced, QB who is comfortable running his offense then I really dont know what to tell you.

why are so many on here sold on jj being our qb next year when he has that befuddled look after allmost every play? Not trying to say he wont make a good qb , but right now he isnt where a power house sec team would need thier qb to be. He isnt a passing threat nor a running threat to any team.He doesnt make quick decisions and appears at times to be lost on the field

I personally think the bulk of the problem lies with a quarterback with ball skills, but no management skills. JJ simply can't run a wide open Crowton offense and thus limited what GC could call. This played right into opposing defenses open arms. We need to do a better job of evaluating quarterback recruits. Additionally, our poor line play only exasperated the shortcomings at the quarterback position.
