Anyone have updated info on Jarett Lee's status?
Ware and Ford wouldn't get enough carries to improve their status. Defensive players have a really good shot at some good money. Next season looking grim if LM makes no move on the offensive side of the ball and that's the part of the game we'll have to lean on next year. Strap it on tight Tiger fans.

Miles has to 'man' up. I know that may be a reach. But, man up and hire an accomplished OC now!
This game should be as electric as the '79 USC game. Obviously we are not quite the 'underdog' we were then, but we should have a 'monster' chip on our shoulder for BAMA. We just need to keep our composure and save some adrenalin for the 4th quarter. WE CAN BEAT BAMA!!!!

Maybe not that one sided a ratio, but I do think the passing game needs more 'in game' reps. For the receivers and for Mett. I believe waiting till the run game has problems then asking him to save us with his arm is not good preparation at all.

What a great analysis of Jefferson's limits as a quarterback. To be able to run a good passing offense the qb has to be able to know where his recievers are with relation to the defense. Hopefully Mett will prove to be capable in this regard. Just wish Randle had stayed one more year.

Met Lee's parents as we left the stadium yesterday. Told them we were very happy that their son stayed the course and didn't transfer. He was the reason we were in the position we are today. Apologized for the way he's been treated. By the way, 2-quarterback 'system' infers you actually 'play' 2 quarterbacks throughout the game. Les does not have a 2-quarterback 'system'. Hope Lee stays positive, we may need him in one of the last two BIG games.

Seems to me I remember a statement from Miles that its his job to put his players in the best position to succeed. Well he is failing badly in this regard. He continues to destroy any confidence JJ might have had and not playing JL more already this season has got to be effecting him as well. Please CLM recognize the boos are for you and your staff, not our players who actually "work" at getting better every week. Sorry the same cannot be said for you and your staff. I thing Smacker better smack her dad and wake him up.
I haven't seen either JJ or Lee showcase defense readabilty. Lee is the better passer, JJ can't hit the wide open deep route. As far as the talk of needing experience goes, what experience did McElroy have?

I personally think the bulk of the problem lies with a quarterback with ball skills, but no management skills. JJ simply can't run a wide open Crowton offense and thus limited what GC could call. This played right into opposing defenses open arms. We need to do a better job of evaluating quarterback recruits. Additionally, our poor line play only exasperated the shortcomings at the quarterback position.

I actually wanted my wife to post after this game, she actually made great sense. When you look at the production from the 'classroom' and it looks like the offensive results our team is producing the first place to look is the 'teacher'. Crowton may not need to leave, but he sure as hell better start trying something different with his offense or this season could get ugly (record wise anyway) real soon. I think we can all agree we have capable talent to run some kind of offense that will be productive.
