Would Josh Reed have been a better pro in today’s game?

Seems like he’d be just the guy most NFL offenses are looking for these days.

It had nothing to do with Josh Reed and everything to do with the team that drafted him. Look how many bad QB’s he had in his 8 years at Buffalo. Plus he played in a division with a guy named Tom Brady.

Any WR would be better in today’s game. Literally any.

Hell yeah. Him and Dominick Davis would be outstanding in these new offensive systems.

A lot of guys that were slower but their calling card was toughness to go over the middle and take a monster shot would be worse. Those monster shots don't really exist anymore so that role is getting phased out.

That’s a good point.

Well that’s obvious. But with the way that smaller, quicker guys are used all over the field these days, you could see why one would ask if he would be the type that would feast in the systems run today.

Josh Reed was a very special player. When he planted his foot, he was gone. Sticky sticky hands. Which makes me think of E.T. Eric Martin. I hope a couple of the pups grow up to catch like those two.

Toefield would have definitely had a longer career.

Josh Reed would have feasted in today’s offense. Chase broke his single season record in 2019 and I feel like Chase was eating all season. Josh Reed was my favorite player as a kid. Anyone know what he’s up to now?

Slot receivers like Jarvis Landry would be a bad selection or invaluable in today’s game?
