Poor coaching causing turnovers? That’s not poor coaching, that’s on the players.
I might be more inclined to agree with you if it hasn't been a recurring theme over the course of three years...with three very different rosters. When trying to identify the root cause of a problem with many variables you generally have to look to see if their are any constants. In this instance, the only constant is McMahon. No, he can't go on the court and make the decisions or passes for the players. But when it keeps happening over and over again despite many different players one has to think "what is causing this?". McMahon is not telling his guys to go out there an turn the ball over. Nor is he unaware of the problem. But he evidently has yet to accept it's his offensive structure/approach that is likely putting guys in bad spots that lead to turnovers.
When the post comes up and sets a lazy screen that doesn't do much of anything, leading to 4 guys generally standing around being easily guarded, it makes things tougher on the ball handler. He's being easily guarded too, yet he doesn't really have an outlet to pass to. So if he dribbles into a tight spot looking for some way to create a play and gets stuck there is not much help for him.
It's like Miles. When several different QBs struggle over the course of several years it's unlikely you just go unlucky with multiple bad QBs. It's more likely you are putting them in difficult spots in which to have success.

In many cases, it allows the defense to double. And since our offensive ball movement is a slow developing pin down, or lazy screen on the wing, it’s easy to recover for the defense. I legit think the offense would be better if we ran all 4 off ball players to the baseline and left them there since everyone is standing around watching anyway.

What is confusing to me is who is coaching! McMahon calls something but you have David Patrick walking behind him yelling something as well.

It’s fairly common for one of the assistants to have the scouting report for an opponent. Generally you will see the assistants alternate from game to game. Yes, even Wade did this too. It’s more pronounced in conference play when the gap between games is much shorter.
The HC still controls the overall coaching, but an assistant has the more detailed scout.

I really don’t care. He just needs to win more. Coaching style only matters when you lose.

The coaches demeanor on the court is the least of my worries. If "emotion" was a prerequisite for winning, Tom Landry wouldn't have two Super Bowl rings.
