Thrown the ball 50 times during the BAMA game and let burrow try to win the game for us and go down swinging and throw 5 picks.

We were playing not to get blown out, rather than trying to win and throw everything at them. Win or lose leave everything on the line, I'd feel a lot better with a loss knowing we tried everything to win

It's not like they weren't calling pass plays.

Problem is the everything we throw at them is bad because the scheme is garbage. Burrow just keeps running for his life if he throws 50 times.

Can’t pass the ball if you get sacked every play

The MAJOR problem I have is att that fg with 9 min left and down 3 scores. A made fg still has us down by 3 scores. That, folks, is a loser's mentality. You should do everything possible to try to WIN the game and not just try to save a little face.

The offense as currently constituted is hot garbage.

50 pass plays would have resulted in 12 sacks

Really can’t put the blame on one person. I felt the OL couldn’t block em, then I felt Joe was holding the ball too long, then I felt like the receivers weren’t getting open, then I felt like we should be running some screens, rubs (picks) or anything short to pull the corners up. All were probably somewhat true.

We threw the ball much more than we usually do against them, it was just ineffective because the scheme isn’t very different from what hasn’t been working in years.

I firmly believe Burrow is good enough to beat them. The problem is he did not have time to take 3 and 5 step drops and wait for WRs to get out of blanketed coverage on slow developing plays. We needed quick strikes, slants, screens, RPOs, etc to keep the defense honest

E was calling the wrong pass plays. Playaction drop backs from under center were getting absolutely killed. Burrow had some mild success on quick throws from the shotgun.

Saw Burrow play action fake to literally no one on one play. How is that gonna fool Nick Saban?

We threw 35 times and were sacked 5 other times and had at least 1-2 run attempts by Burrow due to protection collapsing. That’s probably 42 passing plays out of 60 offensive plays. I don’t think 8 more plays would have made a difference.
