Would anyone be against firing Bo mid season?

Normally I’m against the mid season fire but in this case I would maybe support it. The game has passed Bo up, I mean we got him from fricking Youngstown state. There was a reason he was there. He is so far out of his league and it shows.

He doesn’t have to be fired, just reassigned. Hopefully that’ll be a big slap in the face and he’ll resign later.

they could fire him today and I wouldn't have an issue with it.

We would be even more fricked then we are now. Who is going to call the defense? Orgeron? That’s the problem with O, a defensive line coach

You can’t really make a mid season move. He doesn’t have coaching experience to handle that

This season is already bust anyway, firing him and forcing someone else to coach is a waste of time and money.

This season is basically done as far as accolades. Fire him or at the least reassign him to some remedial position and bring in a new DC to get them ready for next year.

If it were me I would inquire to see if Wade Phillips has any interest in being a consultant for the rest of the season. If he does and is still available fire Pelini, give interim DC job to Busch or Raymond and bring in Phillips to coach them thru the job. Just a thought.

what could it hurt it certainly can't get any worse. the defense is an embarrassment poorly coached, poor schemes, there is nothing good and absolutely zero improvement from game one

No, hiring him was a waste of time and money.
Letting him coach is a waste of time and money.
Firing him is simply a waste of money.

I am not only for it, I want it done now. The only reason why someone wouldn't be against it is the buy out money. Still worth it.

There would be no point.

O wouldn’t be able to pick up the slack, he has NO IDEA what he’s doing considering he said the defense was way better this year.

The regression of the defense from game 1 to game 3 is reason enough to start looking for a replacement whether that’s public or not.

Their worry would also be other potential hires seeing this and not coming to LSU.

I say reassign him and allow other staff to game plan.

This is a guy who was a HC at Youngstown State making $300k per year and was happy letting Nebraska pay the rest of his salary. I don’t think he would resign. LSU would probably negotiate a buyout.
