Look, just like Shorty had to learn and adjust to Louisiana...Les has hit his stride now finally with a real OC...if he is savvy as I think, he will keep it that way from now on out...let each of the coordinators do their thing...sit back and simply manage the team!

Look, I may be dreaming in purple & gold....but what I see setting up could be a dominant offense...the potential is there...I'll be disappointed if good things don't develop...teams were keying off our offensive sets last year...those days are over....

Exactly. Sure, I'm hoping Cam turns out to be that final piece of the puzzle, but I'm cautiously optimistic at best.

LSU's defense better be pretty dominant if they want to make a run. Dominant offenses are fun and all, but it's usually the defenses that win championships.

The defense will be solid. I'm just hoping that the offense can consistently carry its weight this year.

well he did coach one of the best offenses in NFL history while in San Diego. He's performed everywhere he's been an OC

And Saban would have been run out of Miami had he stuck around. What's your point?

no matter what cam does people are gonna say its all him if our offense is great and miles is controlling him if it sucks.

This. I like his style of play, but it's yet to be seen if he can translate his offense to a college kid and be efficient.

Yeah it would be nice if he had some college coaching experience ....oh wait, he does.

Well considering one was at a school he coached at for a very very long time, and the other was coaching in the nfl, i dont see how Les could have got to this juncture any faster.

If the rantards had it their way, we would never have hired chavis in the first place.

I am optimistic yet logically skeptical.
I will give Les the benefit of the doubt because he has earned that, but I still need to see it before I start threads acknowledging that which my eyes have not yet seen.

Trust but Verify-as The Gipper used to say.

Before the rant anoints yet another OC as "world class", let's actually see what happens with the offense.

Cam hasnt even coached a single play in a game for LSU, yet he is already "world class", and according to the rant, going to show an explosion on offense.

Let's see what happens first. If after having Miles pull the football like Lucy the last few seasons on things like:

JJ is all world
The o-line is the best ever
etc.

you are ready to anoint him without proof, shame on you.

Right. If cam's offense sucks, it's miles' fault. If its good, then it's bc miles stayed out of it.

Crowton's offense was awesome until miles started messing with it
