Maybe I am a victim of the moment but it feels like its been a long time since LSU won that type of game.
Back and forth, overcoming adversity in multiple ways, getting clutch pitching and hitting performances in key spots, getting those performances from some of our more unsung guys, crowd was electric.
Feels good to be in the drivers seat, lets bring this one home and get ready for the Supers!

I believed we were in big trouble after not scratching a run across in the second inning.

I literally texted my cousin that we just lost the game. Said you can't load them up twice and get zero runs and win this type of game.

I’m afraid we will need to score 10+ runs to win today, which means a few keys guys will need to break out of their slumps, and Jay needs to alter the lineup. Crews and Tanks at 1/2 makes absolutely no sense, and tre has no business hitting in the 3 hole in his current slump.

the OSU dugout looked totally dejected after that loss, hoping we can come out hot and put them in the hole early

I think you are.
This team has come back from early deficits all season. LSU had some anemic offenses in the late CPM years. This offense is never out of the game.

I was more worried in the 3rd inning when the freshman lefty came in after the rain delay and stopped the walk parade and shut down the middle of the order. I was thrilled to see him gone to start the 4th.

One of those games where you have to hang onto every pitch, because every putch matters. Loved it, but 1 this year is enough. Let's rake our way to Omaha.

Yeah but coming back on a bad team or a comeback like we did in game 2 against USCe isn't the same as this type of game.
Obviously the moment isn't as big but also playing bad for 7 innings and having 1 good inning to win it isn't nearly as satisfying as a fan than being in it and back and forth in a big game and having your guys just make more plays than the other guys.

I am thinking that the Oregon Regional in 2020 is probably the last time we won this type of game. Maybe the first 2 games against Tennessee this year but the magnitude wasn't the same.
