Baton Rouge does have a high school senior who is signed to play football for Michigan. So maybe, just maybe, he flew down to see him.

It's recruiting. There really is no other reason for him to be here. Unless he was connecting from New Orleans after talking to Tulane about getting that job like he was supposed to after Bowden left

Or maybe, just maybe the OP is full of shite and it really wasn't Rod. Ya think?

I can't believe it took until the second page for someone to claim this, but I agree

but it does make sense if he was here. There is a signee that he has that goes to PBS in Baton Rouge, Drew Dileo.
Its not that big of a stretch.

I thought all the negatigers would jump right in, but they are too bisy bitching about baseball I guess.
The truth is that if RR were in BR, he would arrive by private plane, would avoid the terminal and be picked up at the vip lounge by a limo. Nobody would see him.

He'd land in a private jet at the FBO. Not the main terminal.

Did someone just say that LSU was trading CLM for CRR and a player to be named later?

Hopping onto LSU's staff as Running Game Coordinator.

Just spotted Rich Rodriguez at BR airport. I think he was on the same flight from Houston. Anyone know why?
You saw his brother, Poor Rodriguez. They look alike

not to be confused with Slowpoke Rodriguez, who is the cousin of Speedy Gonzales.

It was Pudge Rodriguez, seminar on hitting with runners in scoring position. We were on the road.

May have been Alex Rodriguez telling the players not to use steroids. It kills your pitching arms ...

He was down here to help with the oil cleanup.
Said he couldn't wait to get out there and put out some oil booms. . ..

He is being paid by Miles as an offensive consultant. That way his offense is already installed when he gets here in December.

The state of Michigan does not have a lot of top football players from year to year.
To compete with Ohio State and Penn State, they have to recruit nationally.
Look at rivals Michigan players. they may have as many as 12 players listed each year. Sometimes 15. They have twice the people as Louisiana, but Louisiana has between 35 and 60 top players each year.
Look at the Mich roster.
the five star guys are national recruits.
the 4 star guys are from Ohio.
the 3 star guys are local.
Les Miles went to Mich on a scholarship.
He played high school ball in Elmyra Ohio.
That, dear friends, is why he said no thanks, when the Mich job was open last time.
Mich is in the mix for top hockey players, along with the really big dogs, Minnesota and Massachusetts.
but NEVER for football.
