Sabotaged? He hired the worst coach in ole miss history because of a fricking binder. This is a new level of stupidity, even for you Ben.

Yes, yes he does. bottom line. If Woodward had been here there’s no way we hire O. I do believe O will be given every opportunity but if he doesn’t mover forward I’d expect he’ll get the Sumlin ultimatum. I suspect this will put an end to Pomansky’s shills on here trying to spin shite as Woody wont be swayed by it or a binder.

Orgeron is held to no different standards than Miles, probably higher.

3 loss seasons got Les fires. 3 loss seasons for O and we’re on an upward trend.

I don't see anyone saying that the coach needs to be fired now. That'd be completely impractical.

He controls his own narrative. He wins the SEC this year, he'll be untouchable.

The only thing that's changed is what'll happen if he doesn't have LSU competing for the NC this season.

Woodward isn’t just going to come in and fire Orgeron. You don’t become one of the best AD’s in the country by firing a football coach that just won 10 games.

Cute Ben. Go back hoping Hugh freeze gets hired as the offensive coordinator, then telling people how dumb they are for not being thrilled with ensminger.

And don’t forget to take your meds this time.

Ponamsky doesn’t have to do shite. If the offense is actually brought into the 21st century (maybe even the 2010’s *gasp*) and we win 10+ wins moving forward, O will end up looking like the best hire Alleva made.

But we will know he got to that decision by being stubborn, incompetent, and petulant and the hire should be listed in encyclopedias right under the blind squirrel finding a nut

I must be missing something

He does control his own destiny and hopefully he's done with that conservative play calling(especially in the red zone where they played for field goals) but If he loses three games this year he's out and he should be. If that happens Jimbo will be offered the job and that's all most people that refuse to except mediocracy like so many Ed O supporters are thinking. Would be stupid to fire him right now and 99% of us don't want or expect that but apparently only us negatigers Believe this should be his make or break season

You don't think that telling Canada to come to him and do an end around O wasn't undermining his authority as coach.

When Orgeron gets us in the CFB playoff this season, y'all will regret your postings for the past two plus years.

That would be great, but it wont happen. He cannot out-coach Mullen, Saban or Fisher. Hard to get into the post-season with 3 losses.

7 losses in two seasons and a 3rd place finish in the West is not a damn good job

If O loses 3 or more games this year he should and now will likely be let go

9-3 or 8-4 under Alleva would have had him as the LSU coach forever. Just look at the sentiment in this thread. Alleva and O have done a great job of lowering expectations

Head coaching positions are about trajectory and Orgeron surprisingly has us looking like we’re on the way up.

One thing I’m certainly comfortable with is if that perception proves to be fools gold then we have someone who has proven that he can bring in a winner.

I’m as comfortable as I’ve ever been as an LSU fan. We have a football coach who appears to be doing the right things and an AD who will make sure he does it.

LULZ he simply shite the bed so hard in 2017 that 2018 looked “on the way up” in comparison.

Head coaching positions at top tier programs are about winning conference and national championships not trajectory... trajectory may be acceptable for those two schools in Mississippi and Arkansas but shouldn't be at LSU

I was one who hated the O hiring and I am willing to admit that, but Orgeron has done better than he was expected to and he is projecting upward.
