I hear what you're saying, but the big schools absolutely need the big donors because this is just the beginning of NIL. The NIL money given to some of the top players is going to seem like pennies in a few years. The 12.5M Underwood is going to get paid is going to be nothing in 5-10 years and fans simply aren't going to continue throwing their money down a bottomless pit.

Ben is very good to the program and the family loves LSU. He also is very influential in getting former players involved.
