With Mulkey headed to BR

Is there any likely players that would transfer to LSU? (genuinely ignorant to women’s basketball) Lastly, how bad is our roster in terms of talent?

We got Pointer and Aifuwa but the roster isn’t very good outside of that. Not a lot of very good scorers/shooters. It would have been nice not to lose young but it is what it is. Kim has made bank off the portal the last few years. Expect 2-3 transfers and likely some current kids leaving. Only so much she will be able to do this summer in terms of flipping the roster around
She will need to bring in some good talent for the 22 class and move from there
There is a 6’7 freshmen phenom on market from Syracuse. Hopefully she is still available by the time all this plays out

With the new NCAA rules I'm worried about her stealing good recruits from the men's team.

And if you know anything about Mulkey and the dude (Griner). Griner was not allowed to talk about her personal life. A few articles are coming out about Mulkey running a tight ship with the gay players per The dude Griner.

Haven’t researched it much; but saw in another post where Griner came back and clarified her statements. I believe she said that Mulkey wasn’t telling her from her own personal view or feelings to hide who she is. She said Mulkey was telling her that it may be in her best interest of personal safety and what not to not say anything due to the fact that Baylor is a (and even more so then) highly conservative private Baptist college in a very conservative town, which may not make Griner’s life very easy.

Kim has a interesting roster at Baylor. I wouldn’t be surprised if Moon Ursin who’s from Louisiana follows Kim back home. Smith was the WADE trophy winner would love to see her join also. Maybe Kim will make a player out of 6th year Senior Faustine. Pointer stock is about to rise for the WNBA.

I attended Baylor at the same time Griner did. This was no rumor, it was well known around campus. Now I am not sure the answer here, but it supposedly wasn’t a Mulkey thing, but came from the top of the University.
