Chip Patterson with CBS sports was on ESPNU radio. He was asked if UGA was Bama’s only competition in the conference this year. He said the with Amanda and this being a night game in Baton Rouge, you can’t overlook LSU.

If we win one of UGA/Bama, we will be in the playoffs period.

This has been known since CBS picked November 3rd as their doubleheader day.

But socialites who get the tickets will leave after the band finishes.

*If we beat all the other teams.

UF at Florida, A&M at A&M and State at home aren't cake walks.

We should win them all but I wouldn't go chalking them up quite yet.

I’d love to beat Bama but honestly this team may be better off if they lose to them and Beat Georgia rather than Bama. Then we wouldn’t have to play them in Atlanta and risk losing a playoff spot. I still rather beat Bama though. Screw them. I’ll take a Bama win and be happy the rest of the year regardless.

Amen...................

There are some who take tickets just to "see the band and their band of social cluster phuckers"!

For example, I text'd my niece in Mandeville, whose daughter plays in the band, sorta. This daughter assists and plays on the keyboard, waiting for a spot in the Trumpet-Section.

Fontainebleu and Mandeville played to OT with the winner prevailing , was it 35-34? Thinkng I was being supportive, I mentioned the final score and how it must have been a great game to view!

Reply: "Ohhh.....we stayed until half time band performances were finished, we went to view the band." Her daughters will attend LSU, I guess, and they will have the same mindset as the "Social Cluster Phuckers" who bail on our LSU FB Tigers at half-time, after all, Snowflakes only want to enjoy the music...football is too violent and male-centric?

I was thinking the same thing. A win against UGA and a close loss to Bama will get us in the playoffs. There is no longer a benefit to playing in the SEC championship game as a 1-loss SEC team now that we have the playoffs.

This is true, and a travesty to college football. Conference championships are totally irrelevant now.

I thought of the proper scenario. We beat UGA and Alabama. Kentucky beats UGA and we play them in the title game. They can put Alabama at two and make them play Clemson and we play Ohio State,/Oklahoma, or Stanford.

I never choose an LSU loss for a benefit. If we run undefeated this year, till an SEC championship rematch between UGA then we should declare ourselves winners of the conference and play all our redshirts and backups in that game. Otherwise, I’d tell the conference it’s not in our interest to play that game. We’ll defer to Alabama to play UGA in a mini playoff game to battle into the playoffs. We’d get a 1/3 of the gate or something in exchange.

As long as we don’t slip up somewhere else. Which is very likely
