Embrace it, deaux.

Uh. No. That wasn't the argument. I think it would be a better stat if they were included just as foul balls caught as outs are included.

Sooooo batting average?

I’d like to see if he can adjust as the season goes, it he needs to be somewhere lower than 5th in the lineup. And it’s a big problem once G comes back. Much improved defense with him back, and I don’t want to take Beloso out of the lineup.

I also don’t think Drost’s future is in CF. But with the way Dugas has been performing in LF, i don’t see anywhere else in the lineup to fit him in unless you sit Beloso once Gio is back.

It's RF but Crews' future is there too and you're not moving him. Both have arms. Not sure who takes CF when Gio leaves. Maybe a new recruit but Project would have to chime in. He's on vacay though so y'all leave him alone.

ETA: Andrew Stephenson's brother is coming next year. Maybe him?

Drost will probably play LF at some point

Tough decisions coming in the near future since Dugas and Gio are both juniors too. Project would know much better than I but I have to assume neither one is a risk to sign after this year.

On Stephenson:

6.68 runner, shows good speed and range in the outfield and the potential to play centerfield.

Dugas has been killing it out there though.

Yeah, that's what I was saying. With him being the same class as Crews, he's your LF.

I dont get why you would have gio and beloso hitting ahead of arnold at this point. Also morgan leadoff

Him and Pearson's little brother are coming in. Maybe Hampton sticks to baseball but who knows.

You are correct, Drost is a corner outfielder so he'll settle in at LF or DH next year.

Agreed. I hate to be one of those guys but can Crews or Dugas play an infield position?

We talking beyond this year. Not sure who is still around between Gio, Dugas, Beloso. They get an extra year and no idea what the draft will look like this summer. Honestly, PM may have to tell some guys to go to get more PT somewhere else. Not increasing scholarships above 11.7 was a travesty.
