With all of what's being reported, how is there no Notice of Allegations?

Legitimate question. Any experts care to explain?

Because they don't have any actual proof. But all the usual suspects will be here shortly to shite on Wade.

NCAA has allegations from one or more third parties. They don’t have the back up documents to support at this time. They asked Wade for certain records (phone) that he hasn’t provided. LSU is pissed that he drug his feet and is now letting it out to the media to pressure Wade.

Wade provided those in January according to the article

Agreed - why do these things get reported to ESPN without any allegation or even notice of allegation to the program or university? It's crazy.

This has been going on for how long? The information is certainly not new, and they have had Wade's records since January. But the NCAA is still not prepared to issue a NOA, only to refer the case to an independent counsel?

I think the independent panel would take over the investigation, and then issue a Notice if necessary.

That makes since. According to what I read, the panel is for complex cases. I don't want to read into that too much, but that makes me think that this case is not so cut and dry as many will have us believe.

I am not really an a complete expert on what's going on or what these articles about this subject mean per se, but isn't this just the same shite that the NCAA/these writers have been saying for months now?

Seems like this is absolutely nothing new to me, but maybe you guys can enlighten me.

the NCAA doesnt have any hard evidence. So they are using LSU to try and scare Wade into admitting to it. At the same time trying to scare LSU as well.

I bet you anything the negotiating piece will be the punishments will not be too bad if LSU comes through.

Documents were provided in October 2019 and we still don't have any NOA. The NCAA doesn't have any evidence it can use, so it is punting to the independent review panel.

quote:

On Oct. 14, Duncan said he received what Thompson described as the "complete production per your requests," although Duncan wrote it was also disorganized.

Reading comprehension matters. The NCAA has had the documents since October, and yet still hasn't sent a NOA....

Yes. Read what the NCAA is doing. The NCAA is taking all of of this to the next level. Woodward better realize quickly that if he fails to act, he will go down with WW.

When someone withholds/destroys evidence, the adjudicating body is able to assume/infer that evidence is damning to the accused.

The "new" part is the NCAA has formally stated that WW has NOT cooperated with their investigation. In fact, they have stated WW has intentionally stalled their investigation. THAT means WW is in direct violation of his contract. I believe this entire story is about putting Woodward/LSU on notice.

Wrong. They (NCAA) are still trying to conduct an investigation. This latest move by the NCAA is actually putting Woodward/LSU on notice.....deal with WW or else!
This is somewhat like the independent counsel telling Bill Clinton, "we have the dress, we have the taped telephone calls, so don't lie by telling us under oath you had no sexual relations with an intern." Bill continued to lie so they impeached him.

The entire world was informed that Clinton got a BJ in the oval office AND stuck a cigar up her twat. That, has become Bill Clinton's legacy and THAT is what came of his impeachment. The most embarrassing moments in US presidential history, featuring Bill Clinton.
