With a halfway competent umpire we win that game

We definitely walk more and put more pressure on them. Some of those were unreal bad.

If if was a 5th we'd all be drunk. Every game ever there's an IF, for both teams. I would prefer our play be strong enough to overcome any bad umps or calls.

Extended zone all game. Arky benefited more than we did. Consistently bad. We never adjusted for the most part and that was the difference maker. That and walked too many guys when it mattered

Agreed. LSU would be undefeated if all the calls went our way. Complete BS

I am usually as upset as anyone about umpires and bad calls but accepting it is the sane thing. HOWEVER, this guy started favoring the Arky pitchers with low and out side ball very early and didn’t stop. Not exaggerating…..he probably gave them 4-5 outs.

With what happened last Sunday, it will be hard to not look like whining losers by complaining to the league. But that was ridiculously bad.

Their catcher framed at least 4 balls that were called strikes. We also noticed that the angle of the outfield camera was a little more to the right of the pitcher than usual which have contributed to the obvious bias. This had to be the reason or the ump was compromised.

I’m not one to usually give excuses but:

With that pitcher and that strike zone, LSU nor any team for that matter, wasn’t going to hit well. He was absolutely terrible behind the plate.

Now would have LSU won with a better ump? I can’t say that but with that ump they had no chance.
