you don't understand football if you think Max is starting over Myles

Maybe by the time he's here Max will be starting. I don't see any indication at this juncture that he is the day 1 starter.

some of you are going to be so disappointed when Brennan is announced as the starter

Max will have his hands full with Nuss and Howard as well. Don’t pencil him in as a starter in 2022

Brennan may start but Nussmeier is the most talented QB out of the four followed by Max then Brennan then TJ.

I think TJ transfer eventually. Nuss for two years, then Howard for another 2. Then throw in the possibility of Arch Manning coming here and there’s no shot of TJ playing

Are you a dreamer or detective?
You should be a weather meteorologist, with that conclusion.

Even if Myles starts this season Jake knows his brother is starting 2022.

It would not be shocking. He played very well as a true freshman in a difficult season missing the top WR, TE and the RBs at the end of the year. I would imagine Myles may got the nod due to his experience and arm talent, but Johnson can also take off and run to move the chains.
Myles is limited there and does not do much of that (and will likely do even less coming of that coming off a major injury).

Hopefully they will just push each other harder. Myles was throwing it very well before he got hurt and has been a good leader.

Yes. Go track Brad Johnson's career at FSU. He sat for most of his career and came out fine. The Johnson's are in it for the long haul.

Max will technically only be a redshirt freshman this season.

Brad probably did not expect his son to get the playing time he's already gotten for at least two more years.

People seem to project their own self-esteem and confidence issues onto these situations.

Lol ok. Max's running ability gives him an advantage over everyone on the roster. Myles put up a bunch of pretty stats but was a deer in headlights against a pass rush.

A lot of the offensive playbook is gone with Brennan under center. He is not a running threat so defenses don't respect his feet. Max can and will give you positive plays with his feet and defenses have to respect that.

Max's arm plus feet > Brennan's arm only.

It's as simple as that.

With that said the coaches will likely start Brennan to keep the hierarchy in order. I know people don't believe this is a factor and it should not be a factor but Brennan's seniority will play a factor IMO.

Nussmeier runs a lot better than Max.

I'm not sure who will be the starter. With that said, you probably don't know who will be the starter either.
