Who else saw Emmit forcibly restrain Mays (twice) from trying to embrace his arm around his shoulders during a timeout huddle with about five minutes left in the game? Anyone know what the beef was about?

Neck offended Mays...yet Williams had an opposing viewpoint.

Emmit found out that Mays ate his left over Shrimp Po Boy and he’s pissed about it. It shouldn’t have happened and now it’s gotten out of control.

Wade made Mays a strong arse offer that made Williams jealous.

Coaching staff did a horrible job defusing the situation. Emmitt looked stupid on tv. Wade should have told him to shut TF up or hit the showers.

a coach moved between them for the remainder of the time out. Once the timeout was over the players sat separately and a coach could be seen talking to Williams and Williams very visibly calmed down.

That's much better than Wade blowing it out of proportion by making a big deal out of the situation.

Yeah it was so intense that I had no clue it was happening, and I was at the game. My friend texted me asking about it so I looked at the bench the next timeout and saw Skylar and Emmitt with their arms around each other

They said on TV something about Mays telling coach to sit Williams. Could have been just bs but thats what was said.

No they didn't. They went onto a whole spill about how they liked the fire from the players, and said that all good teams have players who will do that. Then continued on to say that every team needs players telling coaches to sit a player when he's not doing good.

In no way did they suggest that Mays told Wade to sit Williams.

This team is really close and view each other like brothers. Sometimes brothers fight but at the end of the day they got each other’s backs. Not a big deal and no need to make it one.

They did suggest that.

I don't know why the decided to go off on a stupid rant about that, but in absolutely no way did they suggest that Mays told Wade to sit Williams. Go back and listen. If you are just assuming this, you are making a crazy assumption.

Dear fellow ranters...I agree with the post I quote above. I’m not trying to make a big deal or cast shade on a wonderful team. I’m a 20-year season ticket holder but was out of state yesterday watching the game on TV. Because this has been such an unselfish team who always seem to get along great and who still honor their fallen teammate by wearing the 44 patch on their unis, it just jumped out at me that their was this serious discord between two of our starters for all to see. I was just hoping to get some insight on this. Thanks to those who understand this and responded with substantive thoughts.

Same here. Just wanted to know if anyone saw anything that triggered it. Not worried as brothers get in arguments all the time. Just that timing wasn't good, especially all over TV. Some people just don't have a clue.
