Sorry but I already bought my girlfriend a $50 vintage purple LSU tshirt for this game that she looks cute in.
And I don't wear yellow or gold as I'm white and that color looks horrible on me.

Obviously, wear whatever you want. You're right, it has no bearing on the outcome of the game, and even if 100% of the fans were wearing gold...it wouldn't intimidate ULL, let alone Florida. But if everyone did do it, yes, it would look "awesome." Even though, ultimately, it doesn't really matter.
I just don't get why you choose this as the forum to prove what an individual you are.

If LSU really wants everybody to wear that hideous shade of yellow that they try to pass off as "gold" than they should put shirts on all 94,000 seats like the Hornets do

I would love for this to happen but I doubt it ever will, say if LSU was able to get a deal to get t shirts made for around .25 cents each for say 92000 people, it would cost them about $23,000. I don't see this happening
the .25 cents is just a random cost, I know nothing about making a ton of shirts
