Again you are factually incorrect. Of course you’re completely ignorant about what he runs but that’s expected. If you blatantly lie about the most surface level facts like record, nobody expects you to have a clue about what’s happening on the court and you’ve justified that expectation.

Sure .sure...so then what has he won as a head coach other than mid major conference titles? And does that equate to the success you expect at LSU...a second time around? Cause that's the baseline.

NC State - Didn't accomplish anything (NCAAT), but if he did, the Final Four two years prior under a since fired coach would get credit

That column you listed, his logic, has zero objective data to support it. The things he said didn’t happen, wins, conf titles, conf tourney titles, NCAA appearances, objectively have irrefutable data to support them happening. He seems like a troll, what’s sad is he’s not but his argument is the polar opposite of reality.

You can't compare the two. Kiffin is a top 5 coach in ncaa football. Not sure Wade is at the same level in basketball. I hope so, but it seems lsu and wade are not in the hunt for the top portal bb players. I sure hope it changes before the portal closes.

MK, I don't speak for you or Alt26 and other LSU MBB fans on this board, but I don't think we worship at the altar of Wade. We recognize he had good success at LSU and is the best coach we reasonably could have hired. He has room to grow as a coach being still only 43 years old. He loves LSU, LSU MBB and Louisiana, even though he's not from here. But, most importantly, LSU MBB will be relevant again, which is what LSU MBB fans want. The non-fans can just not pay attention, it won't be any different for them.

Exactly, you know that since it was apparent McMahon was going to be canned, I never said it had to be Wade. I’m glad we got him but this narrative that all the people who think he’s a good coach worship and would only support him is false. It’s projection, they want to believe everyone thinks the way they do which couldn’t be more wrong.
