I guess Will Wade upstaging your beloved Coach O in the news is too much to handle.

Loic because Wade coached one more month? That's absurd.

Absolutely, and it’s tragic.

I feel for the basketball team with all this crap going on around them, right at the end of an amazing season, with hopes for still more accomplishments and playing time to come..

Regardless of whether or not they have a star player in Javonte, who may (or may not) have taken bribes. There’s a whole team here that have worked their butts off.

They have played so well, they’ve embraced the purple and gold, have been a team that has already been through so much with Wayde being murdered.

It’s Kavell Bigby Williams’ Senior Night tomorrow, how’s he gonna remember it?

Why in the hell couldn’t they have waited a few more weeks, in compassion for them?

I’m hurting for them right now. They don’t deserve this bs.

Hunt Palmer said that Wade was suspended because he was called to a meeting with King and Alleva and upon the advice of his lawyers he didnt show. Because of this they suspended.

Yeah that report has been out, but still, you'd think LSU would have dragged that meeting out a few weeks.

What the if these accusations are just the tip?

If he doesn't talk to the board or Alleva, they have no choice

I wish upon Joe Alleva and FKA that they be tied to trees near fire ant hills and covered in high fructose corn syrup.

And may it be done on the Parade Grounds in front of the Student Union.

Sure. But it doesn't appear Wade is doing anything to help anyone but himself. This whole fiasco is something he's brought on and his supervisors absolutely have the right to know what occurred

You're right, but if you weigh the pros and cons, you can make a strong case that sorting this out could have waited a month. There is no real downside. If something clear and damning comes out over that time, you fire him, but the current tapes give you enough wiggle room to defer for a month.

What if they aren't?

It's always best to let it play out.

I'd love to have seen you during the Duke Lacrosse BS.

Alleva must let it play out.

What is he was advised not to talk because he had legal advice not to?

What if the admins actually let something play out for once?

It is far worse at this point to suspend during the season than just let it play out.

What good does this do now? If he's innocent, it's a travesty. If he's guilty the season is still wasted.. So why even make this move?

We have the two biggest pussies at the top.

Not if you're the President or on the BoS.

They have an obligation to know.

I hate the administration as much as anyone, but if wade wouldn’t meet with them under the advice of his legal counsel, they had absolutely no choice but to suspend him no matter if they believe him or not. If they didn’t suspend him after that, and even one small thing is true, you are talking lack of institutional control and a fricking death sentence. I still hate alleva but it’s the only choice.

Help you out there skillet.

If you wanted LSU to become a BB School again this was the only path. As we are figuring out through the process.

All they had to do is release a statement expressing that there is a continuing internal investigation into any NCAA infractions that include the recently reported conversations. LSU, integrity, facts, blah blah, etc.

LSU gained nothing by suspending Wade today. In fact, if anything, they made it worse. Presumed guilt of violations, which the media was already doing.
