Can be, but tends to breed "me first" players and little defensive advancement. Some coaches egos are more important than player development, etc.

Here's the cliffs:

Me first, team 2nd (or an afterthought)
No defense
No fundamentals
Greedy coaches trying to profit on kids, and undermining HS coaching
Nike UA and adidas preying on talent

Athletic 6'7 guys eat him alive. I don't think he'll ever have the quickness to be a significant factor on offense,

Before he made it to Lsu, I went on YouTube and watched him play against Rowlett high school and they had a 6'8 guy that ate his lunch.I could never understand how he was a 4* recruit.

Wade has said he likes Epps, Duop and Mays so the two or three he is talking about have to be among Sampson, Elbert, Patterson and Sims.

Or Jenkins. He said he this before he announced he's leaving.

He's starting with a poor roster,

I really don't think our roster is as bad, with the transfers included, as people are saying.

I think it sets up well for Wade's high energy press, which will keep us in games.

He started with a poor roster and has added to it. It's still not a good roster, but he has improved it somewhat.

It's not a good roster, but it's also not a finished roster to this point. He will add 1 maybe 2 more guys.

I think he could get this roster good ENOUGH to be close to a .500 conference team next season if not right underneath that. He's a really good coach and will get a lot of guys like Reath, Epps, Sampson & Edwards next season

If we stopped today it would look like:

C- Reath
PF - Combs
SF - Sampson
SG - Edwards
PG - Mays

Bench
C ER III
C/PF Kiir
PF/SF Epps
SF Sims
SF Alexander
SG Rachal
PG Patterson

Its wild how different the roster is in one year.

Not true. Jenkins announced on the 9th and Wade's quote was on the 12th.

At least Wade is practically flipping the roster and bringing in some different players.

Hey, idiot... LSU has had a lot of real coaches through the years or they wouldn't have been to 3 Final Fours and won multiple SEC Championships and been to multiple NCAA Tournaments. Johnny was not an effective coach the last couple of years, but he did had some success in his early years. Quit using the word "we" when talking about the basketball team as you are not on the team nor could you likely take the workouts. Typical Sports Bar Hero!

You never use the pronoun "we" when referring to teams that you cheer for and identify with?......yeah ok.

Also even a broke clock is right twice a day so having individual successes surrounded by failure doesn't make him wrong for saying WE have never had a real coach outside of Dale Brown and even his in game coaching was questionable. Dude was a lights out recruiter and motivator though.
