I've also said, I didn't even know who Wade was prior to LSU hiring him and I'm a CBB fan. There are 350+ schools that compete in DI and Shaka Smart was the coach that was most recently known at VCU before taking the Texas job.

The roster would be MUCH more talented. The recruiting would be better also. The product on the court would be MUCH better. I don't see how you think he'd have a similar season to what lsu is having now with the same budget. Also, he wouldn't have the same budget..they'd believe and be much more willing to shell out cash for Wade's players.

PSST-----some guys are just winners and know how to accomplish success by overcoming any and all obstacles. Wade is one of those dudes. McMahon just isn't.

Yeah, it's INSANITY (pun intended), that we would just LOVE us some motherflucker that had us in the tournament every year and challenging for (and winning) the SEC title.
What we should be doing, is settling for this LOSER COACH like dipflucks like you do, and just watch the program underperform the standard that Dale established for a solid 15 year period.
We've always gotten players here, even Johnny's dumb arse (probably another of your favorites). We just have trouble hiring and keeping the right coach.

Not really considering they came within 3 of currently projected 5 seed Miss St. (on a neutral site, even though it was in State's backyard) and played currently projected 2 seed Alabama very tough in Tuscaloosa.
I think there is a very good chance they win their first round game lil Jim
ETA: They are a better team and unlike last season, have played a much tougher schedule this season. They played Gonzaga who has something like 25 straight tournament appearances and has advanced out the first round 22 of those 25 appearances.
