I've never seen this happen against Alabama,
Florida, Auburn, Tennessee, Georgia, Arkansas,
Virginia Tech, Oregon State, Arizona, West Va, South Carolina, etc.
I have seen some people leave early against Vandy, Ole Miss ('08), Miss. State, and
all the small schools.

We had the game won. WVU didn't really have a chance at winning by the time the 4th quarter came.
We were up 17-14 going into the 4th quarter. And both qbs were playing terribly. I don't think anyone knew without a doubt we were going to win

well you would see 10,000 seats empty for cupcakes and 5,000 empty for lower-tier SEC and non-conference games
I see no need to expand regular seating, premium seating is where the demand is at

They need to address the fact that it sucks with 92,000 first. Not "really" but the gameday experience is nothing like it used to be...

I'd like to see a lot more suites added, to max out the revenue.
According to LSU, no suite owner has let their lease lapse since 2000. So the demand for suites is at a peak.
This is what UNC is doing to enclose their horseshoe:
That's all club seating. LSU could do something similar, although with suites instead.

I dont see how it ever sucks to be in tiger stadium. Maybe the ones who say it sucks could design a new stadium where there are 100,000 front row seats????? O and most of them on the 50, please
I L L'd when I read this. It reminds me of the guy on his first deer hunt; he kills and deer and goes to get it processed. The butcher asked him how he wanted it? The guy say; I'll take it all in backstrap.

It would be embarrassing to see the largest crowd in college football leave in the third quarter.

Also, they could take the Old Alex Box lot, build a 3 to 5 story parking garage, and save the top level for RV and tailgaters. That would help parking... maybe not traffic necessarily, but thousands of fans would have a shorter walk.
i would love to see people getting 35 rvs out the top level of a 5 story parking garage..... post game........ with campus traffic

We gotta get back ahead of Bama, Bryant-Denny is gorgeous, now that they've enclosed their upper deck
At least replace the other scoreboard to start

The issues are as follows:
1. Many of the people who sit between the 20 yard lines have had these tickets in their family for generations. Little Junior who attended games which were not on TV in the 60s and 70s is now a middle to older age person; so he gives the tickets to son; grandson etc. who has never appreciated the GIFT of going to an LSU game. You will see poor attendance in these sections but I still feel the enzones and upper deck crowd are great fans. We don't need more seats just more devoted fans to stay the entire game.
2. Traffic: since the arrival of Saban and now Miles LSU has entered a Golden Age of Football. I can remember leaving Central La. at 1:00pm getting to LSU for 3:30pm, having a meal in the Union and going to the game. Now everyone wants to go to LSU for the game day experience. Its not because of the poor infastruture of LSU, its the fans who have no tickets but come to campus to tailgate. This is why the traffic is so bad now.
3. LSU has addresses this; not sure of how they will manage it but hopefully its a step in the right direction.
4. Oh; we now leave Central La. at 6:30am to go to a college football game 2 hours away to get a tailgating spot. Saving my 20 dollar bills, I'll pay $40 happily on gameday this fall.
5. Rich fans statment, those people probably earned their wealth, those that don't are usually in Angola or Oakdale. Bet there are no high school drop-outs holding those seats!

I say spend the money on renovating what we already have. 100,000 would be nice, but I say making Tiger Stadium the nicest 92,00 plus stadium in the country would be better.

For bragging rights? Actually the money could be put to better use, but I suspect in a decade or so it will probably be expanded.

For the traffic: passenger train to new orleans... Cheaper than a new road. Ferry to Brusly.
On expansion: after we close the endzones.... Build a THIRD upper deck! Bad arse I know. How else are you gonna keep up?
Unc's stadium looks awesome from that pic.
Bama's stadium is impressive in person. I spit on it to on the way to ATL for the UNC game.

Suite in the S endzone would be great, view of the game PMAC, mississppi river bridge, state capitol. We do seem to be falling behind the jones' as far as stadium renovations go. At least we are replacing the windows.

It still gets loud for all the night games and the big conference day games. It got so loud vs WVU last season, Geno Smith (WVU) qb lined up behind the right guard.
