TAF isn't rich by some school's standards. But this won't bankrupt them.

Correct, but just wait and be patient because that's not very far away if the team keeps performing like it has been.

Tiger fans are at the very ends of their rope with LSU athletic team dysfunction and will be quick to bail if baseball continues to go south.

CPM has been here long enough and has bottomed out competitively; gotten lazy and complacent.

Just about time for new blood.............

How stupid are you?

There are LSU alums and major donors in Baton Rouge alone who could buy out CPM over a cup of coffee. Pick a day.

I won't name names but LSU has several prominent BR area Alumns in the construction business who are worth hundreds of millions of dollars each if not over a billion.

Seriously, where do some of you nimrods come up with this crap?

He isn't as bad as some people make him out to be either. Like most things on the rant the reality is somewhere in the middle.

There is zero chance that lsu will fire it's men's football coach, men's basketball coach, and baseball coach in the same season.

Why? Because its unprecedented? If the results don't justify keeping PM then we shouldn't be afraid to make it a clean sweep this year. The problem is the bone-headed extension he received....but still, TAF could make that go a away in a heartbeat.

You think they would have learned a lesson from the Miles contract situation

CPM is not going to be terminated even if we lose every remaining game this season (which, of course, we won't). Why do some folks here talk about this when there is NO CHANCE it could happen this season?

It's just very frustrating that we have an administration that is so fricken cowardly. They operate out of fear and not confidence.

PM should have never, EVER, been given what he was given. His contract, like all other coaches, should be RESULTS oriented. Pay a better than average salary, but have incentives out the arse. Meaning their pay should actually be better if they perform at or above expectations.

That way if he underperforms, and wants to leave because he isn't being paid as well as he thinks he should.. show him the door. And this makes it cheaper to fire him if need be as well.

The mere fact that TAF, Alleva or anyone on this board is accepting of our Omaha record (or lack there of) the last 7 years, says to me that expectations at LSU have changed.

And quite frankly, Bertman needs to stay out of this.

Yeah and i dont trust alleva to make a decent hire and spend money on getting a proven head coach. The last thingwe need is Joe Alleva being given the power to hire another HC.

As of right now I also don't think PM should be fired just 1 year removed from being the reigning sec champ.

Fair enough...but the man is not doing himself any favors right now and is certainly using up whatever goodwill he has with the fans and boosters.
