I thought awhile back people were saying they would move it over, but I never did see it in any of the models of the new park.

there have been numerous people on here who claim they are on the coaches committee and posed this very question and were told it would not be moved over. take it for what its worth.

LSU fans are so fricking stupid sometimes. That wall was awesome. Its the history of a great baseball program. Its a tribute to the greatness of LSU baseball. Just because you have a few down years you want to take it down? Put it up and add more to it. I guess yall should take that 58 championship flag down too? Or let someone wear #20 since it was 50 years ago since Cannon played? Get real i cant believe this fan base is complaining that the was a wall the displayed national championships. LSU fans are the best and the worst.

Apollo - welcome to the board! Sorry others are giving you a hard time. I actually agree with you, and welcome unbiased opinions. LSU fans - including myself - are naturally not objective when it comes to anything related to LSU. It's nice to see what others outside of LSU think about various things LSU-related.

I think when you consider how college athletics has changed over the last 3 decades it was a ridiculous accomplishment. I don't know about having the huge wall, but it is just a ridiculous accomplishment. What other teams in major college sports have had a run that dominating over the last three decades? Tenn and Uconn woman's basketball

I figured starting with 80s because I think in most sports the current athletes would dominate teams before in most cases.

The last one was in 2000 when these guys were in elementary school. They shouldn't live in the past. Onward and upward.

maybe we shouldn't move it in right away. But as soon as we in a NC in the new stadium it should go in. I've brought in friends from out of town for Football games and they saw the intimidator and they thought it was awesome.

It's a great piece of of the old Box and it should move over at some point IMHO.

Well, of course the current players and current coach wouldn't want it.

I don't care if it intimidates our own players. It's our history, and they have big shoes to fill. Suck it up and fill those shoes.

That said, it sure didn't seem to intimidate our own players last season. They did just fine with that sign looking over them.

Please no. Nothing says you are pathetic and living in the past as Bammers do than having that gaudy piece of crap out there.

It's saying "hey, we couldn't find a tasteful or smooth way of reminding everyone of how awesome we are in baseball. Maybe we shoulda put something cool on the facade of the stadium or along the fence. But no, let's just redneck the hell out of it by putting a damned billboard out there."

Jeez.

Do like they do at other stadiums and put up some kind of ring of honor or something along the inside face of the stadium. The Cowboys, the Longhorns, I think the Steelers do it along with plenty I'm probably not aware of. Think what we just started with Cannon inside Tiger Stadium. It looks sharp, reminds everyone of our greatness and keeps it relevant.

Boy talk about missing the boat on this one. The whole idea behind the Intimidator and what is shows is that WE ARE NOT LIKE EVERY OTHER TEAM. ALEX BOX IS NOT LIKE EVERY OTHER STADIUM. nor do I want it to become like every other one either.
