Yeah I’d think so. Can get a year of med school under his belt and he also isn’t gonna go the first 40 picks

Wait, do people really think students at LSUHSC-NO are eligible to play sports for LSUBR? Do you also think students at LSU Shreveport medical school are eligible? Please enlighten us as to the depth of your retardation.

Mays aint making any money in the NBA. If he truly wants to be a doc he should come back for another year anyways IMO

If it is what he wants and good for his career as a doctor; I would love to see it

Otherwise great representative for LSU and good luck

why? He had a great year and, if he's going to try to play professionally, this is the best time for him to go. Another year won't develop him any more.

I mean I’ve Ben seeing him around the 48-58 range on big boards and projections. So, if that holds true, then no. He’s like waters was last year in the sense that he is skilled but a lil undersized for his position and lacks elite athleticism. So he can’t really rise up much farther than where he’s currently projected bc he’s loooked at as a solid player with a limited ceiling. He will also be a graduate so it’s not even like ok well he can stay and finish his degree. It’d make no sense for him to come back even if he could.

I think you are underrating his athleticism and physical tools.

I have no doubt Skylar can make an NBA roster and make money playing basketball.

He isn't undersized for his position. Mays is 6'4" around 200 pounds built really solidly. That's plenty big for a point guard in the NBA, which I think is what he projects as.

He can shoot the 3 and he is a plus defender for his position.

I have also seen him throw down some serious dunks. He's sneaky explosive.

I’ve been recently seeing him get a little more love from the media now. But hey don’t get me wrong, I think he’s got potential and could be like K Caldwell pope. Who is a solid starter. They got similar size and games. But Skylar is a better and more willing passer

That poster was saying that you literally are not allowed by the NCAA to attend med school at LSUHSC-NO and compete in sports for LSU-BR. Which is correct.

Exactly. Med school does not equal grad school.

Not to even mention the impossibility of being able to attend med school while participating in CBB

I mean, he's a 2nd round pick regardless probably so why not get a year of med school in if he can?

you clearly don't understand that LSU med schools are in New Orleans and Shreveport.

Even if one were in BR, no way in hell any player would want to play a sport while in med school.
