Sometimes folks think that it cannot get any worse. But they have no idea.

If F King Alexander were to leave in the next few months his replacement process would be highly charged by politics and a VERY political head of the BOS would be on board the selection train with a governor who would appoint anyone who helped his re-election.

Athletics is not going to get F King fired.
The Greek Life situation was for more serious but other heads rolled in that situation.

I agree that athletics alone won't but it is not alone.

You don't retain Curly Hallman because "well what if his successor is just as bad or worse". You fire his arse because he's incompetent.

FIRE KING

It depends on who replaces him. King may have done some good but I cant recall so many gaffes under other LSU Presidents in my life.

University presidents/chancellors don't get fired because fans are mad at the AD.

They generally are only fired for major multiple scandals that they are involved with.

Others have taken the fall for Greek Life. If it was proven that CWW paid off multiple players AND FKing knew about it, yeah, that would probably be enough WITH the greek life mess to get him fired.

But if this is a "nothingburger" than that just means FK isn't going anywhere.

I will give you a clue on the age.. I never wore a Member's Only jacket, parachute pants, Jordache jeans or had a feathered hair cut but most of the folks I graduated with did.

I first saw Rollins in Black Flag at Jed's in New Orleans in 1986.

I observed, never wanted the scars, the slamdancing era at Tupelos and nearly got arrested trying to break into St Louis Cemetary number two with a band called the Necros who wanted to see Marie Laveaus's tomb.

At this point, and know how political our state and LSU is, I’d take anyone getting fired right now.

Well maybe they will hire a President with actual credentials to be a President. He did not when he was hired.
