re: Will Ole Miss hatred for Kiffin be worse than LSU hatred for Saban when he went to Bama?

No doubt. This is their second time around losing a coach to an SEC school. LSU lost 6 games total and won a natty in the three years after Saban left.

Ole Miss will likely lose 6 games next year. He was their absolute perfect unicorn. Going INTO this season, after only 5 years, he was their third winningest coach in history. If he had coached next year, he very likely would've been second all time.

It’ll be much worse because Kiffin will throw gasoline on that fire. He loves being a villain.

Wouldn’t shock me if this riles up some MS Updykes.

I have a daughter who’s an LSU alum, and a son who’s an Ole Miss alum.
It’s way off the charts right now.

Yes. Saban did not ditch us for Bama.

And he didn’t do it in the middle of our best season in school history. This is like Saban leaving LSU for Bama before the title game against OU

Yes, but the two are completely different situations. Also, any LSU fan who hates Saban is a complete dolt.

Yes. This would be the equivalant of Saban leaving us directly for Alabama. The buffer was needed. LSU fans would have lost their minds.

Leaving for Alabama before the 2003 postseason, our best season since the 60s
